Michael Proposed to Kristin just 1 year earlier on this very same beach, so the couple knew that Cayo Costa Beach was the ONLY Place that they would want to say "I Do".
We cover all kinds of weddings here at Doodle Fly Photography, However Kristen & Michael's wedding was our first "Adventure Wedding". Michael picked Caitlin, myself and the officiant at the marina. We boarded his boat and took a beautiful scenic trip to Cayo Costa Island.
Cayo Costa is a barrier Island north of Captiva and can only be reached by boat. The island has very few homes, zero roads and no electricity grid.
When we arrived at the private dock, we boarded an ATV and took a 10 minute drive through the island to a secluded stretch of beach. Michael went to the house to pick up his bride. Kristin wore a beautiful white sundress, and Michael matched her attire with a light muslin white shirt, both perfect for this elopement.
The Ceremony was only the couple, the officiant, and the Doodle Fly Photography team.
The couple exchanged their vows, sealed their wedding with a beautiful kiss and we had an amazing time with their photos while we watched the sun set on this pristine island.
Kristin and Michael's Beach Ceremony will be a beautiful memory that we will not soon forget.
